ARTICULATION

GOAL: To provide comprehensive articulated program opportunities that enable students to possess the occupational, technical, academic and workforce skills required to enter higher education remediation free, and/or enter the employment market.

Objective 1: Identify and expand articulated program options and number of students enrolled.

Objective 2: Secondary students enrolled in articulated programs will be oriented to post-secondary transition services related to their articulated program.

Objective 3: Use tracking system to identify secondary and post-secondary Tech Prep Students.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT/TECHNOLOGY

GOAL: To increase the interactive relationships between constituencies to provide all students the opportunity for quality learning activities within articulated occupational programs.

Objective 1: Develop industry partnerships with EVTPC schools and districts.

Objective 2: Provide opportunities for educational partner bridging.

PROMOTION/INFORMATION/EDUCATION/RECRUITMENT (PIER)

GOAL: To increase awareness, understanding and participation of all stakeholders in the Tech Prep Initiative through the development and distribution of multiple marketing strategies.

Objective 1: Increase awareness of articulated programs and courses.

Objective 2: Market Tech Prep to students, parents, educators and the community

Objective 3: Use EVTPC website to market EVTPC activities and information.

SPECIAL POPULATIONS/EQUITY/NONTRADITIONAL CAREERS (SP/E/NT)

GOAL: To incorporate special populations/equity/nontraditional philosophies and ensure access into all Tech Prep activities and programs.

Objective 1: Offer equity awareness activities.

Objective 2: Provide student materials supporting non-traditional populations entering Tech Prep areas of study.

EVALUATION

GOAL: To determine the level of success of the Tech Prep Initiative throughout the State of Arizona as measured through the collective evaluation of all consortia and statewide activities.

Objective 1: Measure EVTPC progress in implementation of the five key components of the Arizona Tech Prep initiative.

Objective 2: Evaluate each EVTPC activity, workshop, and meeting for continuous improvement.
